Description: This fully restored/working radio is now available to collectors and radio enthusiasts. This is a 1935 “tombstone” 5 tube radio that covers the broadcast band (540-1720 kHz) and has a shortwave band (2.3-6.2 MHz). The radio has strong reception and lighted dial. The radio uses an external antenna wire (included). The radio is restored to original working condition as outlined below. Thanks for looking. (Check out my other radios as well.) Electronics/Chassis Restoration: All weak or defective tubes in the 5 tube chassis have been replaced. All paper and electrolytic capacitors have been replaced. All out-of-tolerance resistors and any other defective components have been replaced. The controls, switches and chassis have been cleaned. A complete alignment has been done for optimal performance. All radio controls and lighted dial operate smoothly and properly (band, tuning, tone, on/volume). The restored radio has been run multiple burn-in hours to insure correct operation. Cabinet Restoration: The wood cabinet is solid and in excellent shape. The cabinet now has a completely new lacquer finish. Overall this is a great looking radio for your collection. This is a 105-125 volt AC set. The radio dimensions are 12” wide x 10” deep x 17” tall. The radio will be packed well for safe shipping. This is a heavy radio but shipping charges are exact for your location, I do not add any fees.
