Beautiful Vintage Hofbauer Byrdes Crystal Biscuit Barrel/Cookie Jar

Description: Vintage Hofbauer Byrdes crystal biscuit barrel/cookie jar. This amazing piece of crystal has an octagon shape with the well-known byrdes etched on two sides. The other two sides have a different and unique design, which adds to the character of the piece. The jar is quite heavy, weighing 3 pounds 11.2 ounces, and is approximately 9" tall and 4 1/2" wide. There is a delightful clear crystal bird perched on top the lid, which serves as a handle. Both pieces have a saw-tooth edge. This beautiful piece of crystal has an abundance of sparkle and lots of reflection of light. No longer produced, this would be an excellent piece to add to your crystal collection. Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. Never used, it has been curio kept. Disclaimer: Many of the items I sell are vintage, antique or used, and may not be in perfect condition.
