Description: Beautiful, isolated crinoid crown, Encrinus liliiformis from the Middle Triassic of the Upper Muschelkalk formation from Alverdissen, Germany. Fantastic preservation on one side with the reverse showing some wear and damage. Crown measures about 3 inches (7.62 cm) from the tip of the arms to the base of the partial stalk. The wooden cube is for size perspective as it measures 1 cm. It is not part of the sale. Please review the photos as they are part of the description and show the actual item you will receive.
