This auction as stated is for a fine porcelain figurine by Royal Doulton. This beautiful lady figurine is called May. She was designed by Douglas V. Tootle. You can see that she is dressed in a yellow flowing dress with light streaks of red in it as well. Her arms are clutching her red blue lined cloak as the wind whips against her. This particular figurine is part of the Royal Doulton Special Edition and she was released in 1989. The figurine is beautifully hand painted. She is clearly marked on the bottom with the Royal Doulton mark as well as her name and her model number which is HN 3251 and in addition she has a paper stamp on the base as well with her name on it. She stands 7-3/4” tall x 5-1/4” long x 3” wide. The condition is mint, no damage whatsoever. It does not come in the original box but will be wrapped with care for delivery.
