Description: Here is a very interesting oil painting of a peacock roosting in a tree at night with the moon in the background. It has very nice detail with a Goth like feel due to the overall darkness of the background with the peacock and the moon only standing out. Peacocks can actually fly for very short distances only but they usually roost in trees at night and at daybreak will hit the ground and begin their foraging. The painting is signed Hunter but no real way to identify this mysterious artist other than that. It's a neat little painting looking for its permanent place to roost. Thanks for looking.
