Description: Hi, This auction is for a beautiful Parian bisque / China head doll artist signed by J. Dawydko and dated .65. Beautiful hand painted details: delicate eyes, pouty mouth, rosy cheeks, black molded hair with rows of curls and a blue ribbon in her hair. Her boots are painted light blue with a metallic gold line at the top. The body is an off white muslin fabric and has been stuffed. Layers of clothing made with antique fabrics with many tiny details: lovely lace detailed skirt and matching blouse with off white ruffles at the wrists. Long Slip is made of a fabric that looks like wool flannel with lace on the hem, bloomers and short slip,and camisole made of old eyelet lace. Camisole is stuffed with two tiny red Pompoms to look like a bust. Accessories are blue faceted earrings and a necklace of tiny black beads. The doll is in very good condition: no cracks, no chips, nice color retention, hands and feet are in excellent condition. The clothes have light soiling and yellowing from age and storage.
