Napolean III period in style. Single key for the vanity jewelry box/casket and the lock operates properly. As shown, there is a very elegant, monogram on the top. There are areas that show a loss of color finish and some slight corrosion. The top tray is missing on this and as it was a private purchase, it was not present to me when I bought this. There is no music box in this casket. The velvet is clean and has a light perfume scent, but nothing extreme, but still present - quite usual with a piece made in the 1950s. Sits flat on all four legs, easily. A rare and beautiful example of an Erhard & Sohne piece. Item will be shipped USPS Priority only, signature required.
