Description: This is an exquisite early Heinrich Handwerck 109 model standing 20" free from damage or repairs and in beautifully preserved condition. Her head is marked 109-11 H 2/1 which is an early example of Handwerck dolls, dating about 1880's. Her head is free of damage, no cracks. She has brown sleepy eyes, mechanism works well. All eyelid paint looks good. Painted upper and lower eyelashes and brow. Beautiful coloring on face. Open mouth with four teeth. Pierced ears with earrings. Her original pate and auburn wig. On a marked Handwerck body which is in great condition. Stringing is good. All fingers and toes are there with no prior repairs. She has a one piece antique white undergarment and a antique skirt. She is wearing a light blue dress with lace accents on collar and wrists. Newer socks and shoes. She is a gorgeous doll, ready to display.I do pack the heads to protect the eyes. I pack and ship very well. Box will be insured.
