Description: Up for sale is a beautiful Chinese peasant painting. Acrylic / mixed media. Painting is on paper and a great example of Chinese folk art. This is a great example of the folk art that was created in the 1970s and 80s and done by Chinese farmers / peasants. Great color. This measures approximately 15 x 20 inches and is unframed. We purchased a fairly large group of these pieces in Bethesda Maryland. It came with a explanatory piece ( I have included one in the photos) These were separated from the actual piece and given I do not speak Chinese I can not determine if there is any difference between them saying who the artist is. I will ship one with the painting but it may or may not match up with the painting. I do not see anything that would distinguish one from another and they look like an explanatory piece but I do not know that for sure. Photos are of the actual painting you will receive. The explanatory piece is an example and while I will send one with each painting they may not be exactly the one photographed. Again, I don't think there is much difference in these Anyway, piece is likely from the 80s. Nice color and in good condition with some minor wear. No significant damage and will look great framed.
