Description: Offered here is this Beautiful Antique Solid Wood Side Chair. The caned seat is intact within itself; however, it has some loose around the edges of the framing and needs to be repaired. I am unsure of the actual age of the chair but would guess that it most likely dates to the early 20th Century. The chair is beautifully carved and has a very intricate design that is unique and quite beautiful. The chair is made of solid wood, with a beautiful and unique backs plat design. The chair has some light surface scratches on the finish from general use over many years, but no breaks or major damage structurally. The chair is 40” tall at the side supports of the back, 17.5” wide across the front of the seat, 15.25” wide at the back of the seat, 16” deep at the seat, 17” deep total, and 17” tall at the seat.
