Description: Beautiful antique Paris porcelain cup and saucer with a wonderful painted portrait of a greek or roman soldier in a hard stone cameo style on front and back. The cup is also decorated with in an elaborate gold gilt pattern. The saucer has more cameo type paintings with a matching gold gilding patter to the cup. From the French Empire period early 19th century. I see an impressed mark that looks similar to Sevres marks of the that period but not certain. Measurement: Saucer is 5 inches diameter and cup is 2.75 inches high. Condition is very good with some gold wear. See photos for more details. I will list a matching set in the next couple of days.
