Featuring a softly scalloped edge, it is transfer printed in a deep cobalt blue on creamy white - pattern is trailing floral with a hatch design around the edge - reverse is stamped for the maker F & SONS, Burslem - pattern name is MELBA - dates to around 1910. Condition is wonderful with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage - typical utensil marks from use - these are light and fine - a tiny tan flaw as shown from a glaze skip - does not detract.
