Description: Beautiful Bronze Coin 1936B Two Rappen VF Swiss Confederation For your Swiss Coin Collection-SWI012 Details Description: A beautiful very fine bronze coin from the Swiss Confederation or Switzerland. This is the 1936B two Rappen Swiss coin issued by the Swiss Confederation. The coin depicts the image of a thin cross within a shield having a feathered chapeau or hat on top of it and surrounded by sprigs or plant branches on the obverse. The reverse has the denomination surrounded by a wreath and the letter "B" under it. This is a very nicely toned, great looking coin with nice eye appeal. This coin is of relatively low mintage (500,000) when compared to other year issues. Please carefully review the scan as it is part and parcel of our description. Date: 1936. Mint: Bern, Switzerland. Size and weight: This is a two Rappen weighing ~3 grams and measuring about 20 mm in diameter. References: It is KM #4.2. Condition: I would grade the coin as a good very fine with nice toning and eye appeal. The coin has all of its details well preserved and has nice wear commensurate with its age and circulated status. It has some minor scratches throughout as well as a few light nicks and bag marks. It has a bump to the rim that can be seen at seven o'clock on the obverse. It also has some staining especially on the reverse suggesting onset of oxidation. However, the coin is still beautiful and would make a worthy addition to your Swiss coin collection. Please see photo for additional condition information.
