Description: Up for sale is this beautiful Blue Morpho Butterfly plate decoration. These particular butterflies are iridescent and so beautiful. Capturing the colors and angles of this plate is difficult, and it does look a little different when viewed from different angles. There are no scratches on the front surface. This plate is lightweight and I believe it has an aluminum backing. The front seems to be plastic but it looks like it was designed to look like a thin glass. The backing has a hook to hang. There is a slight sticker residue that is old- I wasn't't able to get it off. And there may be a small minor dent or two in the aluminum on the backing. This doesn't affect the front surface at all or the visual appearance. This plate measures approx 9 1/4” in diameter. See photos. Several other plates I have found at estate sales were said to have been made in Brazil. This one doesn't have any markings on it.
