Description: An incredible Beatrice Wood plate in a MCM style that is unmistakably hers. It appears she is looking up and winking at the same time. Signed Beato and also with the Beatrice Wood Foundation numbers on the back. This is part of an estate liquidation of an internationally significant ceramics collections that we are handling for the family. The plate appears to have been cracked in half and restored professionally. My client purchased numerous examples of her work from the Foundation and I believe the restoration was done by Beato or under her supervision.
