'Devil's Den - Opposite Little Round Top on the west bank of Plum Run and about one-half mile distant, is the ledge of huge rocks known as devil's den. It was part of the line of defense of the third corps on the second day, and later furnished splendid positions for confederate sharpshooters when it had come into their possession.
