Description: Vintage tjap batik stamp with an intricate design of copper strips and pins depicting what appears to be a man carrying baskets, embedded in solid wood fashioned into a decorative wall hanging. Four small wooden feet and a hanger are attached to the backside. Approx 11.5" x 8" x 1.5". It is unmarked. Piece is in good vintage condition. There are some small dents along the wooden edge as well as a few bends in some of the copper strips along the outside edge, which could possibly be repaired/corrected. This is a very unusual and striking piece. (DL-20-11)
