Description: Conn Transitional/Chu Has nail filemarking of the 12M Has the Conn name in last picture See pics and video for condition All new pads and overhaul done by Saxquest.com Biggest sound I have ever had on any bari Must get a short shank mouthpiece or it can play out of tune in the high register. I have owned yamahas new and old pro, selmer super action, played mark vis, king super 20, zephrys, and there is something special and rare about this Gerry Mulligan Era horn. The high palm keysare really powerful and the low Bb makes the whole horn project since you body isnt blocking the resonance of the horn. I can still play a low a with my foot in the bell. The horn will need a small adjustment most likely for the climate change due to the change in humidity. The neck had a little trouble getting put on due to the neck screw missing. Other than that the horn needs nothing. The hand spacing is big on this horn. Be aware of that. The tone is so amazing and the hand spacing actually feels great to me because my hand is more open instead of cramped like other brands. This vintage Conn transitional saxophone, model 1930-1934 serial #236xxx, is a professional level instrument that plays like new. Crafted from yellow brass with a brass lacquer finish, it has a gold lacquered key finish that adds a touch of elegance to the overall design. Made in the United States, this saxophone is a true gem for any professional musician or collector. The Conn brand is known for its quality and this instrument is no exception. It has a beautiful tone and is perfect for any style of music. Whether you're a seasoned professional or a collector, this saxophone is sure to impress. If you ask my buyers what they think of my return policy they will say they dont know because they have never needed it. I have sold over $75,000 in instruments online and strive to earn both your business and your positive feedback. If you are having issues please me know. THIS HORN IS A RELAQUERED horn but must have beenan early factory lacquer because it looks like original lacquer. The conn emblem is a little hard to see because of the laquer. You will not notice a difference in tone with the lacquer and the hornwill be cheaper to maintain because of it. Also if search (at)tdesjarlais you will find a demonstration of this horn at (you) (tube)
