Description: BARBIE VINTAGE NIGHTY NEGLIGEE ENSEMBLE #965 (1959-1964) COMPLETE #2 - C8- TO C9++ CONDITION-GOWN DAMAGED AND THE SHOES ARE C9++ ON THE WAY TO NM. I ADDED THE BOOKLET, THE SHOE BOX AND THE PROTECTED VIEWABLE STORAGE BOX. Payment is by eBay Managed Sales only. ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND COME AS IS. CONDITION OF ITEMS: This well-known lingerie ensemble is called "Nighty Negligee" #965 and came out in 1959 and continued through 1964. The ensemble consisted of a long, sheer strapless pink gown with long drawstring ties (GOWN DAMAGED) which wrapped around her bust and torso to her waist in Greek Fashion. The long wide flared robe was of a pinwale vertical striped sheer material with a long collar bow tie and long sheer pink sleeves gathered at the wrist. She wore pale pink open-toed mules with pink poms (Japan) and had a sweet little pink and blue felt dog with a red felt collar. I have added not only the booklet but also a turquoise shoe box to keep the delicate shoes safe, but also the yellow and white viewable picture box. This 65-year-old outfit is surprisingly in good condition as you can see from the pics. Some pieces, of course, are better than others (see the gown after all these many years and I feel the condition of the pieces range from C8- (gown) to C9++ (shoes JAPAN on the way to NM).
