Barbie Doll 1990 w/Handmade Victorian Crochet Dress Late 19th Century very nice!

Description: This is another one of my several vintage Barbies with an amazing handmade Victorian crochet dress. She is wearing an overall fitted dress (bell shaped but not voluminous) with a small waist, in basically two tones of pink (a light salmon and nude) and white trim in some places. The dress has several appliques of different colored mini roses with teal bows, in the front of the outfit. She has a low front neckline with small sleeves that "drop" over her shoulders. This was probably an evening or party dress most likely, as it was the fashion in the last decades of the 1800's for evening wear. Barbie has an elaborate hair up do, with pearls as decorations and a 5 strand pear choker necklace too. Absolutely amazing and adorable. Her "stand" is cone shaped, filled with cotton and is what gives shape to her skirt at the same time. This doll doesn't have a creation date like many of the others that I am selling from the same collection, but she is marked behind the neck as being from 1990.
