Or, visit us at GCCycles, especially if in Ohio.Ban-Ei Japanese Eyedropper Fountain Pen handmade by Japanese lathe-master Eisuke Sakai and Tsuchida Shuichi, who was in charge of final assembly. This pen features a Warranted 14K Gold Fine nib made by the legendary Japanese nib master Ginjiro Kabutogi, and is stamped with "5-0" along with one of his JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) registration numbers, 4622. It also has a lovely iris patina. This, of course, can be polished off if desired. Kabutogi is known as one of the greatest post war nib-masters and his nibs offer an amazingly unique writing experience. This Pen is in good condition. The original ebonite shut-off valve has fractured. It has been replaced with a custom made, 3D Printed replacement. This replacement part has been tested and is backed by our warranty guarantee. There are some minor scratches and scuffs that can be seen on the pen. There are also some moderate defects in the urushi lacquer finish. Please see photos. This pen has had the worn out, original cork shutoff valve seal replaced with o-rings.
