This is one of Bachmann’s most impressive structures and it was patterned after Independence Hall in Philadelphia. In 1975, for the bicentennial, Bachmann would issue the No. 2921 "INDEPENDENCE HALL" with a different box, and this time and it had TUSCAN colored walls with a DARK GRAY roof. The historic replica of Independence Hall in Philadelphia, PA. It was here on July 4, 1776, that the Declaration Of Independence was adopted and publicly proclaimed. Plasticville did not have to go very far to find the perfect model, since they were also based in Philadelphia! This kit was first released in 1955 with tan sides and a red roof.
