Description: For sale is a Bach Stradivarius LR180S72 trumpet in silverplate. This trumpet features a 25R reversed leadpipe, standard weight #72 bell, and lightweight body. This unique construction offers the quick response of a lightweight model with less resistance from the reverse leadpipe and the projection of a standard weight #72 bell. This instrument has been lightly used and is in mint condition except for some fingerprints, see photos. It is a great-playing horn that slots really well! The reversed leadpipe construction also allows for a much more open upper register and the 72 bell taper has a really big, deep sound. With the right mouthpiece, this configuration can be used as a lead horn for a big band (peel some paint!) or can provide great classical tone with a big core sound for concert band or small ensemble playing (eg: brass quintet). It is a very versatile instrument! This sale includes the trumpet and newly designed Bach case that is lighter than the typical wooden case and is somewhat softer, but still maintains sturdy construction to protect the instrument. It features a padded front cover with a zipper closure and backpack straps (see photos!) It is a single trumpet case with plenty of room for mutes and a trumpet stand. There is a compartment with 2 mouthpiece slots and room for maintenance items like slide grease, valve oil, and polishing cloth. This sale includes a bottle of Bach Synthetic valve oil.
