Description: This lot consists of ALL 21 of the paperback novels published as tie-ins with the Babylon 5 TV show between 1995 and 2001: the nine numbered novels, the three "TV movie" novels, the Psi Corps trilogy, the Passing of the Techno-Mages trilogy, and the Legions of Fire trilogy. (I've also included a rough-but-readable copy of the unauthorized "Babylon Files, Volume 2" as a little bonus.) It can be a hassle to try to collect all these books by buying them one at a time online, or to pay for shipping charges for each one, or to wait in vain for copies of these books to turn up at book sales or in used bookstores. This lot took me more than a year to put together. That third "Legions of Fire" novel is getting ever harder to find. This collection of books allows you (or the Babylon 5 fan in your life) to leap into a Babylon 5 binge-read without any hindrances or hold-ups. With one purchase, with one shipping charge, and with what I hope will be an accurate sense of the condition of each book, you get an instant and complete library of Babylon 5 tie-in novels. Most of these books are in good condition, but they show varying signs of reading, wear, storage, handling, or age. In addition to providing written descriptions of each book, I've rated each of them VG (Very Good), G (Good), A (Acceptable), and RBR (Rough but Readable). I tend to grade books pretty harshly, so my "Acceptable" is often someone else's "Good." Please see the photos and read the below written descriptions for a full sense of the condition of each book. Binding is good and solid. Spine has some chips in top edge, some wear to bottom corners, and an area of white wear or scuffing on lower part of long edge. Front cover has corner wear, significant wear along top edge, some other edge wear, some small edge chips or edge dents. Back cover has some corner and edge chipping and some surface wear. Spine has some slight, superficial creasing from previous reading. Binding is quite good but not tight as a new or unread book would be. Spine has light corner wear. Front cover has wear to top right corner, a small superficial surface crack, and some wear/denting to bottom edge. Back cover has a chip in bottom left corner, wear to top edge, some denting or small chips or nicks in bottom edge, and a long but superficial vertical crack parallel to left edge. Spine has significant corner and edge wear. Front cover has corner wear, edge wear, signficant wear along spine edge, some surface scuffs, dents, cracks. Back cover has significant corner and edge wear, plus some surface wear. Interiors of covers yellowed, with darker discoloration near edges. Pages and page edges discolored from age. This paperback shows significant signs of reading and age, but it's still solid, intact, and readable. BABYLON 5 BOOK #9: TO DREAM IN THE CITY OF SORROWS by Kathryn M. Drennan(A) 1997, 1st printing. Smooth spine with no creases. Good, tight binding. Spine has some wear to top edge and bottom corners. Front cover has minor corner and edge wear. Back cover has some wear to top right and bottom right corners, light denting of top left and bottom left corners, light edge wear or denting. Last 15 to 20 pages have denting of lower page corners. Interiors of covers speckled yellow/brown from age. Page edges lightly yellowed from age. This paperback shows a few signs of storage and age, but it's still quite solid. BABYLON 5: IN THE BEGINNING by Peter David (G) 1998, 1st printing. Based on the original screenplay for the TV movie. Smooth spine with no creases. Good, solid binding. Spine has some fading from age and some edge wear. Front cover has some corner/edge wear. THE BABYLON FILE VOLUME 2: THE DEFINITIVE UNAUTHORIZED GUIDE TO J. MICHAEL STRACZYNSKI'S BABYLON 5 by Andy Lane (RBR) Virgin Publishing, 1999. This is a "bonus" book I'm including in this lot. It's in "Rough but Readable" condition (which I consider a notch below "Acceptable"). The spine is creased and has corner and edge wear, the front cover has corner and edge wear and some surface cracks, the back cover has a big tear and several cracks, the binding is loose in places corresponding with the spine cracking, the page edges are yellowed, and there's price sticker residue on the inside front cover. This paperback is in rough condition, but I hate to throw it in the recycling bin when it can still be read and enjoyed by a B5 fan.
