Description: Offered for immediate purchase . . . . . . is a packet containing more than a thousand (1,000+) ~ Vintage Natural White/Ivory Baby Cup (Lucine) Shells ~ measuring from approximately an eighth of an inch (1/8") to approximately a quarter of an inch (1/4") across. Collected from vintage lots of shellcraft supplies I've been fortunate enough to collect throughout the years. Estimated to be from the 1940s to 1960s era, shells like these were used to create colorful little flowers for accenting brooches and earrings. Also, although the photo shows five hundred (500) shells, each packet offered in this listing contains at least a thousand (1,000) shells.) These shells are tiny, round vintage shells ~ not the larger, angular, more brittle shells found on the market today. They have been hand sorted to remove any shell trash or broken shells.
