Collected from vintage lots of shellcraft supplies I've been fortunate enough to collect throughout the years, these seashells are estimated to be from the 1940s through 1960s era; and, shells like these were used to create strikingly colorful little flowers for accenting brooches and earrings. These shells are tiny, round vintage shells ~ not the larger, angular, more brittle shells found on the market today, and they have been hand-sorted to remove any shell trash or broken shells.
