The dome will keep your specimen clean and safe for years to come. The dome top is removable. Beautiful guy and great for any collection or for educational purposes. Species: Darapsa myron, the Virginia creeper sphinx, is a moth of the family Sphingidae found in central and eastern North America. Sphinx moths are not rare, but people don't see them very often, probably because of the flowers they especially like and the time they feed. Wings and other small parts are easily fixable and you should be aware that you may have to fix (glue) a part when purchasing items like these. These are natural specimens and can contain a flaw or two like a shorter antenna or broken or missing legs (legs are not counted in grading of butterflies/moths and are usually not included on the body). We do our best to make sure they are close to perfect but a few might get by us although usually the flaw is minor and something that does not deflect from the beauty of the insect itself. If there is a major problem I will take care of the matter. See my feedback for confirmation. I rarely have a problem but even with good packaging it is impossible for us to Guarantee that specimens will arrive totally intact although we have had very few problems to date. Check us out! Your refund will be processed once the package has been inspected and the receipt from the post office acknowledging the inspection is forwarded to us.
