Description: The right choice for smaller installations With AXIS T8641/42 PoE+ over Coax Adapter Kit, you can replace your analog cameras with network video cameras at your own pace – one camera or several at a time. Because it is a single-channel solution, there is no need to invest in chassis or to replace more than one camera at a time. Simply add adapter kits as you need them. Range table The tables below shows the maximum distance from the network camera depending on cable quality and power source. When selecting your PoE+ over Coax device, both the range and camera installation needs to be taken into account. For installations where a backbox or housing is available, AXIS T8645 or AXIS T8648 is recommended providing a compact and discreet installation. For installations where long distances will be a limiting factor AXIS T8640 or AXIS T8646 is recommended since local power can be added to the device unit.
