Description: This is a really nice vintage or antique souvenir make-up powder compact from Catalina Island, California. It is metal and has all its parts. The front has a vintage image of Avalon Bay and "Souvenir of California, Catalina Island." and we believe it is from around 1940 or so. The inside has the powder puff and press, and a mirror. The bottom still has the old "J. J. Newbury" store price tag on it, which we have elected to leave. Kinda charming, we think! It is in very good condition, with a little surface wear.
