These were purchased at a lost freight liquidation earlier this year, and they were brand new in the original factory boxes. We packaged them in heavy Ziplok bags for resale. We don't know a thing about these or exactly how they are used. Presumably, the spool holder allows the spool to tilt and pivot as it unwinds, in order to keep minor winding snags from disturbing the flow of thread. The large part of the holder can be rotated and set in four (4) different positions: 1 - Green, 2 - Red, 3 - Yellow, and 4 - Black. We are supposing that is either to adjust tension or to allow for different thicknesses of thread. When the small dark gray cone is pushed toward the adjustment portion, the two metal prongs at the end retract to allow a spool to be installed and held in place? Or not.
