Nordie was a lifelong, versatile elite athlete who excelled in many sports. Nordquist was highly sought after by the AAGPBL'S managers to bolster their clubs competitive chances. Nordie, an outstanding outfielder led the AAGPBL League in assists in her Rookie Season with the Kenosha Comets. Nordquist, because of her strong throwing arm, became a fastball ace pitcher while playing with the RockfordPeaches and finishing her career with the South Bend Blue Sox. Nordie played from 1951-1954. After leaving the League, Nordie continued to play Softball with an ASA Boston Team in the shortstop position.. Nordie was very proud that she posted a RARE Triple Play! while playing on the Boston Common. Great for for any Collector or Fan of Baseball memorabilia.
