Description: Autobiography of Mark Twain, 2 volumes of a 3-volume set. These are near-new, Fine+ condition, never read, 1st editions, 1st printings, cloth on boards with gold gilt lettering and cover jackets. The three-volume set is, The Mark Twain Project, an editorial and publishing program of The Bancroft Library, working since 1967 to create a comprehensive critical edition of everything Mark Twain wrote. They were purchased directly from the University Press while I was a news publisher, where I signed up for them as they were released. In book One is the original invoice. I did not keep the invoice for book two. I had moved to a new office before Book 3 was released, or I'd have the complete set available for sale. As these two volumes are near-new I have priced them accordingly. Fine Condition, near-new, bought directly from publisher, first editions, first printings, Book I 2010, Book II 2013. Harriet Elinor Smith, Editor, publications of the Mark Twain Project of the Bancroft Library, Publisher: University of California Press Berkley Calif. 3/4 white cloth, 1/4 black cloth over boards, gold gilt lettering on spines, with cover jackets, virgin books, never read.
