Description: Authentic Herkimer Diamond Crystal Specimen in Matrix (S3). I collected this specimen myself from the Herkimer Diamond Mines in Herkimer, New York. Approximate length of the crystal itself is 3/4". The entire specimen weighs about 1 lb. 2.6 oz. and measures approximately 5 1/2" X 3" X 2". Specimen has a flat bottom for easy display. There are some natural imperfections to the faceted sides of the crystal. No chips that I can detect looking at it with a magnifying glass. A nice high clarity to the crystal itself.
