Description: This Authentic Early 1800s Hand knit Georgian Crochet Dark Green Bonnet Scarf Snood is so amazing for its age. The crochet design is still in fantastic condition throughout, and there is a lighter green color that lines the outer perimeter around the dark green color. This piece was used as a bonnet and also a scarf. From the sides of the bonnet, the scarf portion measures 22 inches long and 6.5 inches wide.There is a black bow sewn into the back of the bonnet. The inner lining of the bonnet is a black silk material that has been hand sewn in. There is some minor staining, wear, and tears in the lining, but is not noticeable from the outside.
