This unusual ring features a large Australian Black Tourmaline oval (15mmLx10mmW) that has two silver butterflies that form 2 of the 6 prongs. The wings of the butterflies are set with tiny White Zircon stones, giving them a little sparkle. (TGW 9.240cts) The face of the ring measures about 15mmLx20mmW (including the wings of the butterflies at the shoulders). The height of this high-profile ring measures about 14mm from the bridge to the top of the butterfly wings. The under-gallery is finished, the shanks are split, and the gallery and under-shank area are done in delicate openwork. The band measures about 2mm. Each butterfly attaches to the prong below it with a loop. The setting is done in Platinum over Sterling Silver, and is marked "925 STS".
