Description: Chicago Illustrator/ARTIST - BERRY HORTON (1917-1987) Active in Chicago after WWII. Worked with Irene Clark and William McBride as a designer, illustrator and artist. This piece is in excellent condition. Berry Horton worked as a nude model for the Art Institute of Chicago during the 1930’s. Trained at the South Side Community Art Center with many of his friends such as George and Frank Neal, William McBride, Jacob Lawrence, and William Carter.
