Description: Antique Edwardian Herbert Bushell & Son Birmingham English Silver Pocket Watch Fob Medal 1920's RARE This is a good size Edwardian Sterling Silver Fob for attaching to a watch chain. The fob is made in Birmingham by Herbert Bushell & Son. Starting out in the 1890s, Herbert Bushell was joined in partnership by his son in 1910. They are best known for their good quality watch fobs and remained in business together until the start of the First World War. In excellent condition and measures 37 mm top to bottom. The hallmarks on the bottom of one side of the fob are well struck and clear to read. They show the lion passant for Sterling Silver, the anchor assay mark for Birmingham and the HB & S makers' mark for Herbert Bushell & Son Ltd. Please take a close look at each of these as they are just as important as the written description. If you have any questions please feel free to message me and I will respond as soon as I am able.
