Description: -This piece of folk art is made from reclaimed objects. the objects may have signs of previous lives. -I hand cut a reclaimed piece of wood to make this cross. (I don't like patterns, so it is perfectly imperfect.)-Embedded in the found object mosaic piece, is a vast variety of mainly green objects.-You will also find the word "HOPE", giving the piece it's name..."Hope is Key"-The wooden box has been painted a lightly distressed grungy purple.-Sawtooth hanger on back for hanging, but it is a large piece and may be best standing on it's own.-Measures approx. 19" x 12" x just over 3"-Colors will vary on different monitors and in different lights. -The whole piece has been sealed many times and is considered to be water resistant. It kind of gives the grout a wet concrete kind of look. While hunting vintage goods, I also take the time to hunt for found objects to add to my growing line of found object assemblages.
