Description: 33rpm LP Record of ASD 3108 Khachaturian SYMPHONY NO 3 CONCERT RHAPSODY FOR CELLO and Orchestra, featuring Harry Grodberg on organ, accompanied by the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Kiril Kondrashin (Symphony No 3) and Mstislav Rostropovitch on cello, accompanied by the USSR Symphony Orchestra conducted by Yevgeny Svetlanov (Concert Rhapsody). It was issued on the stereo EMI/Melodiya label in 1975 (according to the sleeve notes). Recorded in the USSR, pressed in the UK. The record itself is graded excellent with no more than wispy surface marks visible when viewed under normal house lighting. Play-tested on an audio-technica turntable. Superb sound quality, with no issues. More or less faultless playback. Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels clean. No discernible spider marks. The outer sleeve is graded excellent, with light handling and storage wear, faint ring wear. The spine is intact and strong with no loss to the lettering. The inner sleeve has no wear to speak of.
