Description: This stunning piece of art work by Artini Arts, Inc (1950-1970) depicts a busy Mexican village. The engraving is mounted on black velvet and framed with a Carvelo frame which has raised leaf design with an antique gold/copper finish. The engraving is on material that resembles Cararra marble or ivory but superior in strength. The engraving is dated 1965. On the bottom right corner I can just make out @59C 1965. It also looks like a signature/initials of RF. The beautifully wood frame is different from other wood frames as it is made of one piece of wood. It measures 24 3/4" H X 18" W X 1 1/2" D. The frame is 3" wide. The engraving measures 16" H X 9" W. It is in very good condition with a couple issues. The frame is bowed at the top and bottom. Not noticeable when hanging. Shown in the last photo with a yard stick laying across. The paper backing is dry and cracking. It has 3 labels on the back. It looks like it has the original hanging wire. I would replace it with a new one as it is quite heavy. I ship same or next business day.
