Description: For sale, a beautiful vintage 1973 French medal. It is in it's original satin and velvet signed case with a brass clasp. It is deep blue color case. It is signed ARTHUS BERTRAND PARIS inside the case. I looked at the medal and can not find the signature. The medal is a heavy medal, 3 1/4" in diameter, 1/4" thick. It is engraved on the back "A LA RENCONTRE DES TRANSPORSTEURS AMERICAINS VOYAGES D' ENUDE SAVIEM 1973" It appears to be silver over bronze. The medal has a statue on the front bow of the ship with many French buildings, do many details. A unique souvenir medal from France 1973 a well know French Artist in metals still in the original case. Time to thin out my collections! I have been a collector for over 30 years now. This is just one of the many 40 plus vintage prints, tole painting, white ironstone etc... items that I have collected over the years, I will be selling more ebay this year.
