Description: Original Art Ernest David Roth (1879-1964) is pretty famous for his etchings, and a very well renowned artist. This is of a famous building in Fredericksburg, VA, the Hugh Mercer Apothecary Shop. The etching is from 1928. The etching is signed and dated by Roth, probably plate signed. The frame size is 19.75" x 16.5". The etching itself looks to be 13" x 9.75" It is in good overall condition. There is some spotting on the mat. The paper on the back has been opened at one time or another. Looks to be the original framing, based on the look of the back.
