This is the Ultra Limited Edition version that was limited to only 13 produced and originally retailed at $699.99 when it was released nearly 15 years ago). It includes the hardcover itself with a black and white reproduction of a winking bunny line drawing - signed by hand by the artist - in the front of the hardcover (this was not included in the standard hardcover or later softcover printing). The Ultra Limited Edition also includes a stunning 9 by 12 inch original color illustration - drawn by hand by the artist - of a blond in pink (rendered on Arches of France cold press, 140 lb, 100% pure cotton using Dr. P.H. Martin's aniline dyes). This color original is housed in protective black portfolio with string tie and both it and the hardcover come packaged in a full-color clamshell box. A handsome addition to the collection of any discriminating collector, this Ultra Limited Edition is new and unread and it will be shipped with the utmost care. Of note, the primary image includes the front and reverse of the clamshell case, the original color Doug Sneyd blond in pink hand-drawn and colored illustration, and the page in the book featuring the artists hand-signed autograph with the reproduction of the winking bunny black and white line illustration). The final image shows the clamshell box opened to display the protective portfolio (which houses the original Doug Sneyd blond in pink illustration and is laid atop the book). About Doug Sneyd: Doug Sneyd began his career in commercial illustration before going freelance to work for a variety of book and magazine publishers. He also illustrated single-panel cartoons for the Toronto Star, Canada's largest circulation newspaper (cartoons that were eventually syndicated throughout North America). In 1964, he began working for Playboy and his gag strips have appeared in the magazine ever since. Throughout his career, he has contributed over 500 cartoons in all and became a favorite artist of Playboy readers.
