The maiden in cameo profile has a poppy flower in her long flowing tresses and is wearing a headdress with hanging loops of the type that has come to be known as “Mucha-style” after the renowned Czech artist and designer Alphonse Mucha. Only the top is sterling silver. The back is german (nickel) silver. Great condition with no dings, dents or scratches to the front, but the back could use a cleaning if desired. The original c-clasp has been replaced with an old rollover clasp. Has a hook from which a watch or locket would have been suspended. You can also slide on a small pearl, gem or dangle piece for a unique look. Have a single dangle earring you don’t know what to do with?
