The base doesn’t have any electrical work in it but that’s a very easy fix and very inexpensive. I’ll be honest I use to replace these all the electrical could have issues The top of the fixture has no issues and is very clean see all photos. The only issue is the bottom was painted you could find a replacement, but to be honest once you mount this thing to the ceiling, you really wont see it.
