Description: Art deco porcelain figural group of Pierrot with Pierrette, titled Aschermittwoch. Designed in 1920/21 by Wolfgang Schwartzkopff (1886 Frankfurt - 1943 Berlin). Glazed in white. Marked with the fox factory mark as used between 1909-1925. Also marked with model number U379. Signed on the side of the plinth with the artists name. Height is 36 cm. Condition: Good condition with production fault (minor bobbles in the glaze ) Ref: 4229
