Please follow us on Instagram @textiletrunk ~ A lovely antique French curtain, dating 1890-1910 ~ The most charming pattern of stylized tulips!!~ This panel has the original trim all along the side edge The ground tone is a warm tone of natural ~ the other colors are : sage green, pale greens pinks, faded tone of muted yellow and raspberry pink! This panel once hung as a full valance but it appears to have been cut! This textile is backed in an 18th century damask cotton dimity! Dating from the late 1700's ~ very very unusual to find !!! There is a stiffener between the layers of jute! Ideal for deconstructing and for many sewing projects of lovely too for a wall hanging! ~ Great for projects!! ~Lovely trim too! ( I have the matching curtain in my store currently! If you search my store for the word Tulip it will appear! ~*~ MEASUREMENTS: This lovely textile measures 24 inches long on the short side and 69 inches on the long side. It's about 36 inches wide at the top! ~ CONDITION: This fabric has been left in as found, unwashed condition for collectors but can be hand washed and hung to dry! The backing has some dirt marks and some small holes the front ihas some tiny marks , but is generally in lovely condition indeed ~*~ Inv #: E 69
