Antique 1920s Art Deco Figural Bisque Figurine with attached Vase, designed with a Moorish Soldier with Sword on Arabian Barb Horse. Measures 9" x 6" x 4". There is a very pale maker mark (impossible to read) and it is impressed on the bottom with '2388'. Looks to be German or possibly Austrian in origin. There is a stabilized firing split on the base that is inherent to the piece. There are some rough areas on some of the edges but appears to have been made that way. No chips or cracks. I researched for hours trying to ID this piece but to no avail. Hence, I believe that it does not show up in the open market very often.
