Description: TIMETABLE by Maya Lin Maya Lin, best known for the creation of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington DC, was invited to create a sculpture for the science quad at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. She created a site-specific piece that reflected her interest in the concept of time. The piece is in constant motion on different levels and at different frequencies. It incorporates water that bubbles over the surface. This book has some unusual features: an odd binding - three silver brads hold pages in place and glassine pages with diagrammatic information over some of the photographs.
