Description: Arri 16 BL film camera. A cinema legend. Camera runs perfectly as far as I can tell (see video, filmed this week) but it hasn’t been used on a set in a few years. Eyepiece is very clear, lens is in remarkably good/clean shape. Comes with 2 mags and original case. Camera is probably 50+ years old, so definitely sold as-is. Everything is based on my own observations, so please look at all the pics. Camera obviously has the usual scuffs and marks of 50 years of use, and also worth mentioning that the knob/clamp that holds the mags sticks a bit but it is still totally functional. Comes with custom cable and power plate to use 12v power tool batteries to run camera, and I'm including two NiCd batteries and a charger. The current batteries only seem to run for less than a minute or so, but that’s a cheap purchase (could probably get a higher kWh too... or just get a real battery for it).
